International SIG
Dear STN Member,
Are you passionate about trauma care beyond borders? Do you have an interest in global health, injury prevention, international collaboration, and advancing trauma nursing worldwide? If so, we invite you to join the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) International Special Interest Group (ISIG).
The ISIG brings together STN members from around the world who are committed to strengthening trauma care across the continuum and across diverse healthcare settings. This group provides a collaborative forum to share knowledge, explore global perspectives, and share meaningful education, research, and advocacy efforts in international trauma nursing.
As a member of the ISIG, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Connect with trauma nurses and leaders from around the world
- Share experiences and best practices in trauma care across varied systems
- Promote evidence-based trauma care adaptable to global contexts
- Support capacity building through education, mentorship, and training
- Explore international research and scholarly activities
- Advocate for trauma system development and injury prevention globally
The ISIG will meet virtually four times a year, with meeting times designed to accommodate global participation. Membership is open to all STN members in good standing, with opportunities to lead ISIG initiatives or simply sign on, learn, and connect.
If you’re interested in expanding your impact and engaging in the global trauma nursing community, we encourage you to sign up and be part of this important work.
We look forward to welcoming you to the STN International Special Interest Group.
Sincerely,
Society of Trauma Nurses
