On March 1, 2021, STN launched the ATCN Hybrid Course, an alternative option to the traditional 2-day ATCN Student Course. Students choosing to take the Hybrid Option will be required to complete the full complement of online mATLS Learning Modules. After successful completion of the mATLS modules, the student must then complete the ATCN skills stations, skills test, and written examination in a classroom setting. The classroom portion of the ATCN Hybrid Course may be completed in 1 day or 1 ½ days. The ATCN Hybrid Course has been approved for 19 continuing education hours.
STN headquarters is currently in the process of making the necessary enhancements to the Course Management System (CMS) to accommodate the new hybrid model. Until these new features are finalized, please see the documents below:
- Instructions on how to request the course, along with steps to distribute the ATLS modules information
- Steps on how faculty can monitor the student progress through the modules in the Learning Management System (LMS)
Ordering Manuals for ATCN Student-Hybrid
STN Headquarters is in the process of securing an inventory of ATLS manuals. Further, the CMS ordering system is being modified to allow for the purchase of the ATLS manuals. The goal is to be able to place orders for all manuals directly through the CMS. Until that time, the ATLS manuals will need to be purchased directly through ACS via the normal process. It is kindly requested that a receipt, or other proof of purchase, be provided to STN headquarters for reconciliation purposes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As part of the process of ordering ATLS manuals through CMS, there will be an additional fee necessary to be collected as part of the handling process. The required fee is $16.00 and will be in addition to the shipping rates outlined in both CMS and the paper order form.
Please note that as the hybrid course features begin to be implemented into the CMS, these processes will be modified accordingly. A communication will be distributed on any changes and enhancements.
Finally, if you have submitted a course through CMS, and plan to conduct it as a hybrid course, please ensure that you have contacted
