2024 STN Business Proposal Writing Course

STN is pleased to announce the launch of its Business Proposal Writing course, beginning on Nov 18, 2024. This 4-week course offers opportunities for aspiring leaders and trauma program management to learn and grow in their profession and directly supports and enhances the mission, vision, and strategic plan of STN by addressing the specialized needs of a trauma leader.

This course will deliver topics that will assist the trauma leader to create a business proposal, through components of a business plan, identification of a problem and writing a business proposal for your identified need.

Upon completing the course, the selected participants will be able to:

  • Define the term business proposal and explain how it applies to trauma program leaders
  • Understand the need of a business proposal in a trauma program
  • Identify the steps to writing a business proposal and the respective components
  • Present examples for the business proposal applicability in trauma programs
  • Provide real-life scenarios of when and how to write the business proposal
  • Identify the problem, data and tools for justification
  • Discuss a variety of analysis tools to assist with identifying the problem to present to leadership
  • Describe data needs, collection and analysis
  • Identify one real-world problem and create a business proposal to present to leadership by the end of the course

The Society of Trauma Nurses is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity has been awarded 20.0 hours.

Space is limited to the first 30 applicants.

The deadline to register is November 14, 2024
The course will begin on November 18, 2024

The registration fee is $200 for STN members and $325 for non-members. The non-member rate will include 1-year of membership to the STN.
