STN Orientation Slides Now Available!

The Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) Clinical Committee is pleased to introduce the Trauma Orientation Slides, available for purchase! This customizable PowerPoint presentation is designed to support educators, trauma program managers, and trauma centers—whether established or newly developed—in providing a comprehensive trauma orientation.

Who Can Benefit?
This resource is ideal for trauma centers looking to enhance or establish a formal orientation program. It’s also valuable for centers seeking to replace an existing orientation with a more structured and region-specific approach. The slides help introduce the trauma program, facility capabilities, and regional trauma information to new staff and providers.

Customizable Content
The slides include highlighted sections in yellow that can be personalized with individual, regional, and state-specific information, allowing each center to tailor the content to its unique needs. This customization provides a relevant and engaging experience, aligned with local requirements and protocols.

Purchase Details
Upon purchase, your center can immediately begin using these slides to support trauma education. After six months, we’ll reach out to gather feedback from purchasers to help us continue improving this resource.

Important Notice:
Trauma Nursing is a constantly evolving field. To ensure compliance with the latest standards, each center is responsible for updating the slides as needed to reflect current state and ACS guidelines. The STN Clinical Committee will periodically review and update the content for accuracy.

Empower your team with a tailored trauma education tool, developed by the STN Clinical Committee to enhance trauma care practices across diverse facilities.
