#  PI - Benchmarking & Performance Metrics

The Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) has established a Trauma [Performance Improvement Special Interest Group](https://traumanurses.org/sigs/performance-improvement-sig) (Trauma PI SIG), designed to bring together STN members who are responsible for trauma performance improvement initiatives within their institutions and/or interested in advancing trauma PI best practices.

**Diana Jewett** has been a trauma nurse for 10 years. I started in the trauma ICU, then moved into doing trauma performance improvement for a level I trauma center before then transitioning into the TPD role. I now serve as the division director of trauma operations for HCAs capital division, helping to oversee 9 trauma centers varying from level I to level III designations. I have learned a lot over the years and I am excited to help partner with STN to build these resources for trauma centers!
